Weekly Free Open Painting
Thanks to Barbara Womer and Jaime Trevethan at the Newington Senior and Disabled Center, the Newington Art League will host a weekly Members Wednesday afternoon Open Painting Studio beginning on Wednesday, July 5th. This will be free to members of both the Newington Senior and Disabled Center and Newington Art League, Inc.
This will be at the Newington Senior and Disabled Center at 120 Cedar St. in the Arts and Crafts room from 1:30 – 3:30. Please bring your own art supplies (no turpentine) and be prepared to take out what you bring in including rags or paper towels with paint or solvent. There will be a bucket with kitty litter provided for dirty paint water. Artists must clean up and be out by 4:00. Please bring your own supplies. (There are a few canvases available for members use.)
This is an excellent opportunity to paint, get advice from and help other members and just get to know each other better. Join us and have some fun painting on Wednesday afternoons.
