Wednesday Open Studio

The Newington Art League is hosting a free weekly Wednesday afternoon Open Painting Studio for members of Newington Art League and members of the Senior Center. This is happening at the Newington Senior and Disabled Center at 120 Cedar St. in the Arts and Crafts room from 1:30 – 3:30.
A group of six members, several from each organization, met to paint together for the first time on July 5th. They enjoyed working in a variety of medias, oils, watercolors oil sticks. While there is no instruction, artists tend to help each other to the best of their ability.
If you are a member of either the Senior Center or the Newington Art League, bring your own art supplies (no turpentine) and paint with other artists. This is an excellent opportunity to paint, get advice from and help other members and just get to know each other better.
