Agatha Biernat will demonstrate how to enhance watercolors with colored pencils following a short business meeting of the Newington Art League on Wednesday, April 11 at 6:30 pm. This will be in the Ceramics Room at the Newington Senior and Disabled Center at 120 Cedar St, Newington, CT. These demonstrations are free and open to the public.
Agatha Biernat has been painting and drawing since the day she could pick up a crayon. Born in Poland, she moved to the United States as a child and has spent her life expressing herself through her art. Her unique style is of a surreal/abstract/expressionist nature, with a focus on her abundant use of color. Whether it’s watercolor, oil paint, or mixed media, she uses these tools to translate from her brain onto the canvas.
Agatha will be doing a demonstration on how to use colored pencils to enhance watercolor and mixed media paintings. Here are a few samples of Agatha’s work.
