Membership Dues to Increase

The membership dues of the Newington Art League, Inc. have been $25 per year for many decades. The league uses these funds to cover expenses and as our costs have increased we have found it necessary to raise the dues to $30 per individual and $40 per household. The student membership will remain at $10 for any student over age 16. The membership year runs from September 1 through August 31. This increase in dues will go into effect on September 1, 2023.

These dues entitle you, as a member of the Newington Art League, Inc. to show your work in members shows, on the NAL website and in display cases at the Newington Senior and Disabled Center. As a member, you may also attend any open painting workshops and vote and hold office in the league.

Meetings, each of which include a brief business meeting followed by an artist demonstration, are held the 2nd Wednesday of the months of September, October and November with a holiday dinner social event on the 2nd Wednesday of December. The meetings resume in March, April and May with a picnic social event on the 2nd Wednesday of June. There are currently no meetings in January, February, July or August.
