We Have Moved!
The Newington Art League has a new home. We are now located at:
679 Willard Ave.
Newington, CT 06111
Our furniture and equipment has just been moved by the Town of Newington to the apartment on the second floor on the backside of the Kellogg-Eddy House. They did a wonderful job getting things in place for us. We should be ready to paint there by Monday, April 15. (Please call before you go) There is ample parking in the lot across the driveway and a handicapped parking spot in front of the garage.
It is a second floor location, but there are many closets which will allow members to leave some supplies on the premises rather than having to bring them to each workshop. One room has windows on three sides and should make a great studio space. We have our own kitchen and bath so we can make coffee or tea easily. There is a spot for a refrigerator so eventually we will be able to have cold refreshments. We hope to see more members join us for painting workshops on Monday mornings or Tuesday evenings.
